Full job description

Who we are

The Rotamec Group are a leading electromechanical services provider for rotating equipment. We specialise in the repair and sourcing of pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators and power transmission components. This is your chance to work for an industry leading service provider.

The role

Main responsibilities and duties

· Recording of jobs arriving in the works and booking jobs onto EMIR, including photos

· Ordering spares and parts from the supply chain (chasing purchase orders).

· Quality control checks on completed jobs (liaise with Workshop Foreman). Complete paperwork including checking test sheets and signatures.

· Assist with schedule & oversee aspects of transport and logistics (including driving if required).

· Route planning for deliveries & collections. (Local geographical knowledge would be desirable).

· Packing goods for dispatch.

· Goods receiving.

· Stock ordering & replenishment (including consumable items).

· All stores documentation.

· Housekeeping of the stores.

· Carrying out requests by the Company or Branch Manager to aid and assist the needs of the business.

· Meeting with suppliers as the needs arise.

· Undertake general administrative duties, as required and requested by the Branch Manager.

· Answer incoming telephone calls to assist the Branch Sales office and increase customer service levels.

· Assist with all general admin tasks, such as filing, job pack creation, note taking and all other administration tasks.

Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by Branch Manager.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Proven experience in a similar role preferred.

· Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for the role.

· Local geographical knowledge would be desirable.

· Computer skills required to basic level.

· Adapts quickly to change and considers new more efficient approaches

Good time keeping skills are essential.
