Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team in a dynamic environment, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. A valid driving licence and strong communication skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning team to ensure efficient operations.
Allocate tasks and monitor performance to maintain high standards of cleanliness across all designated areas.
Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address any concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, tasks completed, and supplies used.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing timekeeping records.
Ensure the proper use, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Foster a positive team environment that promotes professionalism, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management sector.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to address client needs professionally.
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation between sites if required.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards consistently.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
