Full job description

Due to the continued growth of our business, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Professional Indemnity Underwriter to support our insurance team based in Hitchin.

NBS Underwriting is the fastest growing MGA in the UK handling Commercial, Property and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Using state of the art technology, our distribution model is unrivalled in the industry given us the edge to succeed. We are seeking an experienced professional indemnity underwriter looking for career progression to join our team writing regional SME business.

· Underwrite both new and renewal Professional Indemnity risks within guidelines and authority

· Develop and maintain broker relationships

· Adhere to company objectives whilst underwriting a profitable book

· Prepare accurate underwriting documentation/information in account management systems and adhere to documentation standards

· Actively participate in regular underwriting meetings

· Work effectively as a productive and supportive team member in conjunction with more senior team members

· Demonstrate excellent customer service standards

Minimum 3 years underwriting experience within PI across various professions

CII Qualification desirable

Flexible / Remote Working considered

Salary dependent on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
