Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst intern to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering data-driven solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in data analysis, project management, and business analysis to contribute to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that align with organisational goals.

Duties

Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing processes.
Develop detailed business process models and workflows using tools such as Visio.
Analyse large datasets employing SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Design and optimise databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles.
Create visualisations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Manage projects through the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams on system enhancements, integrations, and data migration activities.
Assist in the development of reporting tools and automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for process optimisation.
Support business units by providing analysis skills that facilitate strategic planning and operational improvements.

Skills

Proven expertise in Business Analysis with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
Experience in database design and management using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong visualisation capabilities using Tableau and Power BI.
Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Familiarity with Visio for process modelling and documentation.
Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
Knowledge of business processes optimisation and system integration techniques. This role is ideal for analytical professionals eager to utilise their technical expertise in a dynamic environment that values innovation, precision, and strategic thinking.
