D Zambelis Ltd is a successful family-run company supplying tools and consumables to the stone industry throughout the UK. This year marks our 30th anniversary, and we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, administration, warehouse operations, and dispatch. No two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and learning different aspects of a business.
The Role
You will support the complete customer order process, helping customers, processing orders, preparing paperwork, organising dispatch, and assisting with warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and assisting customers
- Processing customer orders by phone, email, and messaging apps
- Taking payments and preparing paperwork
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Printing and applying courier labels
- Receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
- Supporting stock control and warehouse organisation
- Assisting with day-to-day business operations
What We’re Looking For Essential
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good computer skills
- Organised and reliable
- Ability to lift and move boxes safely
- Reliable transport or ability to commute to South Woodham Ferrers
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable
- Customer service experience
- Sales support or office administration experience
- Warehouse or order fulfilment experience
- Experience using stock control or accounting software
Don’t worry if you don’t have experience in every area — full training will be provided for the right person.
