Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council’s flagship leisure facility, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone. We’re looking for committed, customer focused individuals to join our vibrant team in the pools complex. If you’re a confident communicator with excellent people skills and hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, we’d love to hear from you.

Lifeguards play a key part in keeping our swimmers safe, supporting the smooth running of the Centre, and help to maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the pools complex. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to our community while working as part of a supportive team.

This position is offered on a full time basis (an average of 37 hours per week). This will be worked on a shift basis to cover the opening hours of the centre, from 5.15am to 11pm, including weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is a must.
