Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant or hotel front-of-house activities, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related fields is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
Oversee food and beverage service to ensure high standards of quality and presentation
Manage reservations, guest seating arrangements, and wait times efficiently
Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and dining spaces
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact
Assist in training new team members on service protocols and food safety standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations related to food preparation, serving, and hospitality services
Support promotional activities and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, or food production is desirable
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary processes, or barista experience is advantageous
Previous roles involving hotel or restaurant management will be highly regarded
