Assess referrals from frontline and specialist teams, determining the most appropriate asset recovery approach to progress investigations.
Review, analyse and develop financial intelligence to inform decision-making and support effective investigation and asset recovery outcomes.
Prepare case files, ensuring all evidential and disclosure requirements are met.
Maintain accurate, auditable records that demonstrate clear decision-making and adherence to legislative and organisational requirements.
Take a lead role in the financial aspect of operations, working closely with investigating officers, attending briefings and contributing to investigative strategy.
Provide specialist financial investigation support and advice across the organisation.
Maintain professional accreditation as a POCA Confiscator and undertake continuous professional development in line with national requirements.
Support the development of colleagues by tutoring and mentoring Accredited Financial Investigators (AFIs) through their training and accreditation.
