Supported Living Manager / Service Manager

Supported Living Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Are you an experienced Service Manager or Deputy Manager with a background in adult social care? Looking for a role where you can focus on delivering high quality, person-centred support whilst working for an organisation that genuinely values its staff?

We're seeking a Service Manager to oversee supported living services for adults with learning disabilities. £33,841 per annum

The Role

The service operates across four supported living locations, all within a 10-mile radius. The people supported are generally independent and require assistance with day-to-day living, including managing their home, attending appointments, shopping, accessing the community and pursuing personal interests.

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the staff teams to deliver consistently high-quality care and support.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, developing and supporting care and support teams
Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered at all times
Developing and maintaining effective systems and processes within the service
Auditing care records and ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant and reflective of individual needs
Managing safeguarding concerns and ensuring appropriate action is taken
Reviewing and reassessing support needs when circumstances change
Working alongside senior management to develop and enhance the service
Deputising for the Complex Care Manager when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Service Manager or Supported Living Manager within a regulated care setting
A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding support for people with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities
Good knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant social care legislation
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards this qualification)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
