About You
You are highly organised, detail-focused and delivery-driven, with a strong project management mindset.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and bringing structure and clarity to complex client engagements.
You are comfortable owning timelines, managing stakeholders, and driving progress -ensuring nothing slips and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
You will have experience in:
- Client delivery, project or programme management
- Managing multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
- Working with senior stakeholders across different businesses
- Bringing structure, planning and accountability to delivery
You are analytical and solutions-focused, with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with wider business objectives.
Whilst prior experience in R&D Tax is beneficial, it is not essential -what matters is your ability to manage delivery, build relationships and learn quickly.
The Role
This is a client-facing project management role responsible for owning the end-to-end delivery of RDA engagements across a portfolio of clients.
You will act as the central point of coordination—bringing together clients, internal teams and data to deliver high-quality outcomes.
You Will…
Project & Delivery Management
- Take full ownership of client projects from initiation through to completion
- Build and manage clear project plans, timelines and milestones across a portfolio of clients
- Drive delivery against deadlines, ensuring all stages are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Monitor project progress, identify risks early and take proactive action to keep delivery on track
- Ensure consistency in delivery approach aligned to RDA processes and standards
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and introducers
- Manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders across different sites and functions
- Confidently engage at senior level, guiding clients through the process and managing expectations
Data & Process Management
- Lead the collection, organisation and validation of client data in line with RDA requirements
- Ensure all information is captured accurately, efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Maintain structure and control across multiple workstreams and client engagements
Technical Development
- Develop a strong understanding of R&D Tax Credits legislation and its practical application
- Build knowledge across a range of sectors including technology, construction and engineering
- Work closely with internal specialists (Directors, QA, Accounts, Business Development) to deliver high-quality outputs
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work cross-functionally to support smooth delivery across the business
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and client experience
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the Operations Team
Networking and Travel
- Travel to client sites across the UK as required (including occasional overnight stays)
- Attend client meetings, networking events and RDA-sponsored activities
- Represent RDA at events, including occasional weekend commitments (e.g. motorsport events)
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
