Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician, dedicated to safeguarding homes and businesses from unwanted pests. In this energetic role, you'll conduct inspections, identify pest issues, and apply targeted treatments to eliminate infestations effectively. Your proactive approach will ensure a pest-free environment for our clients, contributing to their peace of mind and health. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest management while making a tangible difference in the community.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and entry points
Develop customized treatment plans based on inspection findings, pest species, and property needs
Apply appropriate pest control methods, including baiting, trapping, and chemical treatments, following safety protocols
Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and answer questions regarding ongoing maintenance
Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments administered, and follow-up recommendations
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards during treatment procedures
Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve service quality

Experience

Previous experience in pest control or related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately assess pest issues and implement solutions
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and professionally to clients
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift equipment or supplies as needed
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is highly desirable
Certifications such as State Pest Control License or equivalent are a plus but not mandatory; training will be available for qualified applicants
