The role in short

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs and MSSQL to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our software applications, contributing to the design, implementation and optimisation of critical systems, ensuring that they meet high-quality standards and fulfil the needs of our customers. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and contribute to the overall success of the development projects you are involved in.

£35,000-£45,000 depending on experience.

37.5 hours per week.

Onto the nitty gritty!

Contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions according to established specifications and best practices.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high code quality standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

We’d like to meet someone with

Proven experience in software development with proficiency in C#, ASP.NET and Web APIs (3-5 years)
Familiarity with database technologies – MSSQL and proficiency in writing effective queries
Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail in development tasks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams
Comfortable with reading third-party documentation and integrating with third-party systems
