Full job description

The Cheltenham Trust is looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our Casual Technical Crew, supporting a wide range of live events across our unique venues.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in event production across a diverse portfolio of venues, from contemporary spaces to listed heritage buildings.

About The Role

As part of the Casual Crew, you will work under the guidance of the Technical Manager and Production teams, supporting the delivery of events by assisting with the technical set up and de-rig.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with loading and unloading equipment safely support stage setup, set positioning, and assisting technicians with cabling and equipment.
Work carefully within historic venues to protect buildings and assets and maintain safe, working environments by keeping the stage, loading bay and fire exit areas tidy and hazard-free.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures (full training provided).

Role details:

Hours are irregular and based on the Trust's event schedule.
Shift Minimum 2-hours and can include early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
This role involves lifting, moving equipment and standing for long periods of time.

What We’re Looking For

While previous experience is a helpful, we welcome applications from everyone interested in working in events and the technical crew.

Requirements:

Good attention to detail and care when moving valuable equipment.
Ability to take direction and work effectively under pressure and as part of the team.
Reliability and punctuality

Desirable (But Not Essential):

Previous experience in manual handling or event production.
