Could you collate fragmented information into comprehensive information packs to enable life-saving safeguarding decisions?

Do you stay calm, organised and accurate when deadlines change or are short?

Are you driven by the belief that the informationyou providecould help protect someonefrom harm?

If so,our Support Assistant role in Gloucester could be where your attention to detail becomes a powerful force for protection and change!

This is not a standard administrative position. It is a critical role embedded within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), working at the heart of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment, whereurgent requests come through for information about cases.You will be responsible for researching, collating, and distilling information from multiple systems and records to help build a clear,accuratepicture of risk for children, young people, adults, and families affected by domestic abuse, within a few hours.Your work directly informs safeguarding decisions. What you find and how clearly you present it can make the difference between uncertainty and action.

What you`ll do:

Review information by searching systems and records to find safeguarding history and risk information

Gather and summarise key information that has been requested

Produce clear,timely information to support decision-making across agencies

Update safeguarding databases with accurate and appropriate casedetails

Prioritise incoming referrals to ensure urgent cases are dealt with quickly

Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy safeguarding environment

What you ll bring

You bringa strong sense of ownership,accuracy, andurgency. You are comfortable working with sensitive information and understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy, and professional integrity.

Experience of collating and organising complex documented information

A good standard of written and verbal communication

Strong IT skills, including patient / client databases and Microsoft Office

An understanding of Safeguarding and Confidentiality practices in an administrative function
