Registered Nurse

Austen Court Care Home

Overview

Austen Court is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated nursing professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and comfort of residents by delivering safe and effective nursing care in line with professional standards and best practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out comprehensive assessments of residents’ health needs and wellbeing
Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans in collaboration with the wider healthcare team
Safely administer medications in accordance with clinical protocols and regulations
Deliver high-quality nursing care, including monitoring observations and responding promptly to changes in residents’ conditions
Provide support, guidance, and education to residents and their families regarding health management and wellbeing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with legal and professional requirements
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care
Follow infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
Uphold the highest standards of nursing practice, dignity, and resident care at all times

Experience & Requirements

Valid nursing qualification with current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in medication administration and patient care is essential
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and families
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of care
Knowledge of human anatomy and clinical care practices is desirable

Shift Patterns & Hours

Day Shifts: 8:00am – 8:00pm
Night Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am
Weekend availability is required
33-hour, 22-hour and Bank contracts available
