Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and community health environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical services, supporting clinical research initiatives, and contributing to public health programmes. The position is salaried, offering stability and the chance to develop your professional expertise within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient consultations, assessing symptoms and medical histories to deliver accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
Administer medications and oversee medication management in accordance with best practice guidelines
Provide specialised care in areas such as senior care, hospice care, home care, and nursing home settings
Support clinical research projects by collecting data, analysing outcomes, and implementing evidence-based practices
Utilise medical imaging techniques where applicable to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and public health officials to optimise patient outcomes
Stay informed on advancements in medical science, including anatomy knowledge and emerging healthcare practices

Requirements

Fully qualified GP registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid licence to practise in the UK
Proven experience in patient care across diverse healthcare environments such as ICU, nursing homes, or community clinics
Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and experience participating in or supporting research studies is desirable
Skills in medical imaging interpretation, medication administration, and anatomy are advantageous
Experience working with vulnerable populations including elderly patients or those requiring hospice or home care services
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients and colleagues
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards within healthcare practice

Pay: £85.00-£105.00 per hour
