Senior Interior Designer – Commercial Restaurant & Hospitality Interiors
Salary: Up to £42,000 (depending on experience)

Introduction
We are seeking an experienced and design-driven Senior Interior Designer to join a growing creative studio specialising in hospitality and restaurant environments across the UK.
This role is suited to a commercially aware designer with strong leadership capability, who is confident developing concepts, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality design solutions from initial concept through to completion.
We are specialists in garden centre restaurant design, creating hospitality environments that integrate dining, retail, and lifestyle experiences into cohesive, immersive spaces.
Alongside our design studio, we also operate an in-house manufacturing capability, producing bespoke furniture, fittings, and interior elements. This integrated approach allows full control from concept through to manufacture and installation.
As the studio continues to grow, this role will play a key part in shaping both project output and team development.
The Role
The Senior Interior Designer will take responsibility for leading projects through all stages of the design process, while supporting the wider design team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading concept design and space planning across hospitality projects
- Producing and presenting design proposals to clients
- Developing mood boards, design narratives, and presentation materials
- Interior detailing and material, furniture, finish, and lighting specification
- Producing presentation visuals and technical drawing packages
- Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and in-house manufacturing teams
- Managing projects through delivery and installation stages
- Supporting and mentoring junior designers
- Contributing to design standards and studio development
Key Responsibilities
The role requires a balance of creative leadership and technical delivery, ensuring design intent is maintained through to completion.
You will be expected to confidently manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with clients and consultants, and ensure design quality is maintained across all stages of work.
Required Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in hospitality, restaurant, or commercial interior design
- Strong conceptual and design development skills
- Proven experience leading projects and client presentations
- Strong technical ability and detailing knowledge
- Experience producing interior drawing packages and specifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- SketchUp or Revit knowledge beneficial
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods
Experience with bespoke joinery, furniture design, or manufacturing processes is highly advantageous due to the nature of in-house production.

The Senior Interior Designer will work closely with senior leadership and act as a key point of responsibility within the design team.
