We are looking for someone who is reliable, experienced, professional and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Gold Card Electrician / Electrical Engineer Required

Location: Newport / South Wales
Company: Developments Plus Ltd
Employment: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Benefits: Company van, fuel card, overtime, call-out payments and ongoing specialist training

Developments Plus Ltd is looking for an experienced ECS Gold Card Electrician to join our growing commercial electrical team.

The role will involve a varied mix of commercial and industrial work across South Wales, including:

Commercial & Industrial electrical installations
Reactive electrical maintenance
Inspection and testing to BS7671
Planned maintenance and small project works
Out-of-hours call-outs on a shared rota

Essential Requirements

ECS Gold Card
Inspection and Testing qualification, such as C&G 2391
NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification
18th Edition
Strong industrial and commercial experience
Good fault-finding ability
Full UK driving licence
Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable qualifications and experience:

Lightning protection installation, testing or maintenance experience
Crane electrical installation and maintenance experience
Experience with CCTV, access control, fire alarms, data or fibre
SSSTS or supervisory experience
Experience working on reactive maintenance contracts
Mechanical experience i.e. motors, gearboxes, gantry cranes etc
