Caretaker Vacancy

Okehampton Town Council is seeking to employ a Part-time Caretaker.

14 hours per week

Salary SCP3 £12.85 p/hour (£9,529.46 p/annum pro-rata), pay increase pending
rising to SCP4 £13.05 on successful completion of probationary period

The post holder will be responsible for facilitating events booked in the premises, general repairs and maintenance, security and cleanliness of the Town Hall and associated buildings. You will need to be available to work outside of normal working hours for stewarding when the premises are in use; this entails some evening and weekend working. Work in other areas of Council business may also be required on occasion.

Okehampton Town Council is committed to safeguarding and the postholder will be expected to undertake a basic DBS check.
