Dairy Assistant – Summer Position
Location: Snugburys Ice Cream, Nantwich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Summer Seasonal Role)
Pay:

Age 21+: £12.71 per hour
Age 18–20: £10.85 per hour
Under 18: £8.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dairy Assistant to join our team over the summer period. This is a hands-on role involving food preparation, stock handling, freezer work, and supporting the day-to-day running of the dairy and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities

Making and preparing ice cream products
Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation tasks
Packing and prepping products for distribution
Making and preparing ice cream products
Working in cold/freezer environments
Moving and organising stock deliveries
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Following food safety and health & safety procedures
Supporting the team with general daily operations

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with manual handling and freezer work
Good timekeeping and reliability
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is helpful but not essential
