WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Location: Waltham Cross

Salary: £27,742 per annum

Shift: 5 over 7 shift pattern (including weekends), 40 hours per week.

Shift Times: 13:30 - 10pm

️ Please note: This role is based in a chilled warehouse environment (3-5 degrees).

You'll play a vital role in making sure our customers get the fresh produce and quality goods they need, right on time. If you're looking for a stable job with opportunities to grow, keep reading!

What You’ll Be Doing

Manual Handling & Machinery Operation: Picking goods weighing up to 25kg and operating warehouse machinery (full training provided).
Picking, Packing & Labelling: Accurately picking, packing, scanning, labelling, wrapping and palletising goods in line with customer requirements.
Stock Control: Completing stock movement, rotation checks and ensuring product availability at all times.
Quality & Waste Control: Monitoring quality standards, reporting damaged or short items, and assisting in minimising waste while maximising productivity and service levels.
Pallet Assembly: Assembling products safely on pallets, avoiding compression and product damage.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations, HACCP controls, legal requirements, and Company policies at all times.
Clean as You Go: Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and keeping your work area clean and organised.
Security Awareness: Complying with Company security policies and reporting any suspicious incidents to Senior Management.
General Duties: Carrying out other warehouse operative duties as required.
