Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator with specialised expertise in Sage Line 50 accounting software. In this vital role, you will streamline office operations, manage financial records, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day activities. Your enthusiasm and organisational skills will help foster an efficient work environment, enabling our team to focus on delivering exceptional results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and accounting skills within a friendly family business.

Duties

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Sage Line 50 accounting software, including invoicing, delivery notes, and bank reconciliations. Dealing with VAT returns. The ability to use sage payroll (is an advantage but not essential) once every 4 weeks
Oversee general office administration such as filing, data entry, and document management to ensure organised record keeping and credit control.
Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette and prompt assistance to customers and suppliers.
Coordinate scheduling, goods in and goods out, including delivery notes and Courier Notes (DHL or similar)
Get involved with some purchasing, including updating records and paying suppliers, as and when required. experience with imports couriers/ customs etc
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor in a fast-paced but friendly atmosphere

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,084.15 per year
