Calder Industrial Materials specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality lead and steel products with over 200 years of expertise. From its state-of-the-art facility in Chester, Calder handles design, fabrication, machining, and assembly work. We are currently recruiting for a number of roles within our Engineered Products area of the business. These include castings, extrusions and lead wool.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
· Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
· Highlighting and communicating faults which may cause production delay
· Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
· Maintaining accurate records of production, and any other operational data as requested by the Team Leader
· Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
· Promoting and adhering to the company’s health and safety procedures at all times
What will I need to be considered for this Process Operator role?
· Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· A flexible approach to work

Working Hours: Average 36 hours per week on rotating shifts:
Contract Type: Permanent

Pay: £16.44 per hour
