Duties
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including auto diagnostics, oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, alignments, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs using auto estimating software and communicate costs clearly to customers
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle inspection findings to enhance customer value.
- Write detailed service reports and maintain comprehensive service writing records
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely
- Manage dealership administrative tasks such as filing documents, updating customer records, and maintaining workshop logs
- Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations

- You’ll have previous administration experience, strong organisation and communication skills
- Great attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- You’ll have a good standard of general education and be confident using the databases.
Experience is preferred although not essential as all training will be given. Hours of work are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 5pm with half an hour for lunch. You need to be flexible with days to cover for holidays and would at times need to work full time from 8am.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
