Female Personal Assistant required to support a young lady in the Chester-le-Street area

Female Personal Assistant required to support a young lady in the Chester-le-Street area who has Autism, Learning Disabilities and complex needs.

Rate of Pay - £13.50 per hour

Hours – 104hrs to be used flexibly over 4 weeks. Theses hours are flexible depending on candidate , up to 26hrs a week.

and 1 x 24/48 hr overnight (times and days to be negotiated) nightshift not immediate as she needs a lot of time to adjust.

PA will be required to help the lady with the following:

Accessing the community and actives of interest ( including college) Art, animals, music etc

Graded exposure in the community and building confidence using planning and social stories

Independent living skills

Administering Medication and ordering medication

Support with family appointments

Graded exposure training will be provided by Occupational Therapist.

Essential – Experience and understanding of Autism, Learning Disabilities and mental health conditions. Long term position

Driving Licence and access to a car.

A DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
