Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roadsweeper Driver / Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, route driving, and operating various truck types. Experience operating a Bucher / Johnsons V65 truck mounted roadsweeper is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate roadsweeper trucks and related equipment to clean streets, building sites, car parks, and other paved areas effectively
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks
- Load and unload necessary supplies or equipment as required for daily operations
- Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations while driving and operating heavy machinery
- Assist with additional duties such as freight handling or supporting other vehicle operations when needed
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and report any issues or damages promptly
Skills
- Experience operating a Bucher / Johnsons V65 truck mounted roadsweeper is essential
- Valid commercial driver’s license & CPC qualification
- Experience with manual transmission trucks and operating various vehicle types including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, roll-off truck, and tractor-trailer
- Experience with left hand drive vehicles
- Proficiency in truck driving, route driving, and delivery operations
