Job Overview
Gainsborough Retreats offer luxury holiday accommodation in the heart of the Derbyshire Countryside and we want you to become part of our growing housekeeping team helping ensure our guests have the perfect stay. You do not need to have previous housekeeping experience (although this would be advantageous) as we will provide all training and materials to help ensure you succeed. You will make a huge difference to the smooth running of our business as part of our valued friendly team. We are looking to offer immediate start. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our cottages. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience during their stay. OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO THE LOCATION OF OUR SITE.
Duties
- Clean and tidy our cottages, including bedrooms, changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred however training can be given.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members professionally.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Own transport due to the location of our holiday cottages which are located at the bottom of a 1 mile farm track.
