Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, materials handling, and efficient packing processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipment according to company standards.
Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and ensure proper storage within the warehouse.
Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet specifications before dispatch.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Operate forklifts safely when required, adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and meet production targets.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of packing processes.
Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts, is advantageous.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial for efficient stock management.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to ensure accuracy in packing and inventory management.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
