About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student focused Dance Team. We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Associate Lecturer with Dance practitioner/performance experience to deliver Urban Dance technique at Undergraduate level.
About you
The appointed postholder will have a sound understanding of Urban Dance styles e.g. Hip Hop, Popping, Locking and Waacking. The role will include developing content to shape the delivery of the undergraduate Dance programmes.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical/professional experience and/or experience of teaching in higher education, conservatoire or vocational setting and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
