Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Home Helper/ Cleaner to provide exceptional cleaning and assistance services to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and comfortable environment in private homes. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Assist with household chores such as laundry, organising spaces, and light tidying
- Prepare simple meals or assist with cooking as required by clients
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing client requests and ensuring their satisfaction
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Adapt to specific client preferences and customise cleaning routines accordingly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous
- Skills in cooking and basic meal preparation are desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation or means of commuting to various client locations
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to different household environments
