Summit Details is one of West Sussex’s leading vehicle detailing and paint protection specialists. We work with private vehicle owners, prestige dealerships and automotive enthusiasts, delivering premium detailing, ceramic coating and paint protection services.
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Vehicle Detailer & Paint Protection Technician to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who already has detailing experience and wants to develop specialist skills in paint correction, ceramic coatings and Paint Protection Film (PPF).
The Role
No two days are the same.
You’ll split your time between:
- Our detailing studio in Chichester
- Supporting dealership partners across West Sussex
- Mobile detailing and valeting at customers’ homes and workplaces
You’ll be trusted to represent Summit Details professionally, deliver exceptional workmanship, and provide a fantastic customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Safe wash and decontamination processes
- Interior and exterior valeting
- Machine polishing and paint correction
- Ceramic coating preparation and application
- New vehicle preparation
- Mobile detailing services
- Supporting dealership accounts
- Maintaining workshop standards and equipment
- Customer handovers and communication
- Assisting with Paint Protection Film installations and preparation
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing
- Experience using machine polishers
- Experience applying ceramic coatings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and well presented
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
Desirable Skills
- Paint correction experience
- PPF experience
- Dealership experience
- Experience working with prestige or performance vehicles
Training & Development

Note: £27,000 is the starting salary, opportunities exist to increase your earning potential through overtime, development and progression.
