About the Role
This is not a traditional Project Co‑ordinator role focused purely on admin and delivery support.
As a Senior Project Co‑ordinator, you will sit at the centre of project delivery and commercial performance, ensuring that projects are not only organised and delivered effectively, but also financially controlled and commercially sound.
This role blends:
- Project coordination
- Commercial support
- Financial tracking and control
- Applications for payment and invoicing
You won’t just be managing projects, you’ll be contributing directly to cash flow, cost control, and profitability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting project delivery from handover through to completion
- Coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Preparing and submitting applications for payment
- Managing project invoicing and ensuring timely cash flow
- Tracking project costs vs budget and highlighting issues
- Supporting variations, valuations, and subcontractor payments
- Approving and processing supplier invoices
- Maintaining project and financial records
- Producing forecasts and project financial reports
- Liaising with Project Managers, Finance, and Delivery teams
- Supporting process improvements across project and commercial functions
What This Role Really Is
This role sits between:
- Project Co‑ordinator
- Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Commercial Administrator
You are not just coordinating, you are ensuring projects are commercially managed and financially flowing.
About You
We are not looking for someone who just wants to coordinate tasks.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in project coordination or construction support roles
- Has exposure to applications for payment, invoicing, or project financials
- Understands how construction projects operate commercially
- Has strong attention to detail and organisation
- Communicates confidently with operational and finance teams
- Takes ownership of both project and financial outputs
- Wants to grow into a commercial or project leadership role
