Hours: Part-time, approximately 13 hours per week (negotiable).
The role includes evenings and weekends, supporting the coaching team and leading classes as needed.
Job Description
YMCA Dorchester is seeking a dynamic and motivating Head Gymnastics Coach to take the helm of our gymnastics department. In this leadership position, you will oversee our team of coaches and assistants, ensuring each session is delivered to the highest standards—safe, engaging, and enjoyable for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Guide, support, and manage gymnastics coaches and assistants, fostering a positive team environment.
Programme Oversight: Ensure all gymnastics activities are well-organised, professional, and run seamlessly.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Finance and Centre Managers to coordinate scheduling and budgeting effectively.
Safety: Uphold the highest standards of safety and ensure compliance with gymnastics governing body requirements.
