Your next role

We are seeking two experienced Senior Specialists to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex programmes and projects across our Highways and Transport service. This role is central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, while aligning with the Council’s strategic objectives and statutory responsibilities.

You will provide expert advice, oversee governance and risk management, and work closely with senior leaders, elected members, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to shape best practice in project delivery, support continuous improvement, and make a meaningful impact on transport services and infrastructure.

The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required and access to a car, in order to make site visits and attend meetings.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
