About Us

The Role

As a Practice Accountant you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to our clients while also supporting and mentoring junior team members. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is seeking genuine career progression, with clear pathways to leadership within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
Manage and deliver year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns
Oversee bookkeeping and compliance tasks carried out by junior staff
Provide guidance, support, and training to junior team members
Liaise directly with clients, offering clear, proactive advice and building strong relationships
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Assist with workflow management and contribute to process improvements within the practice

About You

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice environment
Chartered Accountant - Qualified
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients
Leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to mentoring and supporting others
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Driven, proactive, and ambitious to progress your career within a growing firm
