Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Installer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various residential sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction, mechanical systems, or equipment repair to develop their expertise within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to high-quality service delivery while expanding their technical skills.

Responsibilities

Install air conditioning units in accordance with manufacturer specifications and schematics
Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation post-installation
Perform maintenance tasks on existing systems, including cleaning and component replacement
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment efficiently to minimise downtime
Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints accurately
Assist with the setup of related HVAC systems during new installations or upgrades
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times
Collaborate with team members and provide leadership when necessary during complex installations or repairs

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
F Gas qualification
Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints effectively
Construction experience is advantageous, particularly in building or renovation projects involving HVAC systems
Knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, servicing, and troubleshooting
Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members when required
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines
