Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Geology or Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist in conducting site investigations and land surveying activities to gather geological and geotechnical data.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
- Support project management tasks including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Analyse geological data using specialised software such as Mathcad and ArcGIS to inform system design and construction planning.
- Contribute to the development of construction plans, land surveys, and system schematics for civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on land development, infrastructure design, and environmental assessments.
- Participate in fieldwork activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during site visits.
Requirements
- A recent degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation or similar programmes.
- Experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with land surveying methods and systems design principles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good mathematical aptitude with experience using Mathcad or similar tools for data analysis.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and schematics development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
