Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative System Game Designer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, balancing, and refining core game systems that enhance player engagement and ensure a seamless gaming experience across multiple platforms including mobile and PC. Your expertise will drive the creation of compelling gameplay mechanics, immersive UI/UX, and robust system architecture that align with our creative vision. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the backbone of engaging interactive entertainment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive game systems, including mechanics, progression, economy, and AI behaviors using tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and custom SDKs.
Collaborate closely with artists, programmers, and producers to integrate design elements into the overall game architecture utilizing APIs, RESTful services, and SDKs.
Balance gameplay features by analyzing data from MySQL databases and applying iterative adjustments to enhance player satisfaction.
Create detailed design documentation, including test cases and system specifications, ensuring clarity for cross-disciplinary teams.
Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of game systems using Visual Studio, GitHub, Perforce, and other version control tools to maintain high-quality codebases.
Participate in Agile Scrum processes by contributing to sprint planning via Trello or Jira, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Design UI/UX elements with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and SketchUp to craft intuitive interfaces that elevate user experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in software development or game design with proficiency in C#, C++, JavaScript, Python or related programming languages.
Strong understanding of front-end development including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap frameworks, MVC architecture, and OOP principles.
Hands-on experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine; familiarity with SDKs for Android and iOS platforms is essential.
Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or SQL Server for managing game data; experience with AWS cloud services is a plus.
Skilled in using version control systems such as GitHub or SVN to manage code repositories effectively.
Ability to create detailed test cases for debugging and QA processes; experience with automated testing tools is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a Scrum team environment using tools like Jira or Trello.
A background in 3D modeling software such as Maya or 3ds Max is preferred for collaborating on visual assets.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles along with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects for crafting engaging interfaces.
Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL), RESTful APIs, SOAP protocols, and server-side scripting enhances system integration capabilities.
