Part-Time Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a VERY organised and proactive Part-Time Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cleaning company. The successful candidate will ensure cleaning services are delivered to a VERY high standard, recruit staff, secure new clients with a leads focused standard tried and tested pitch, manage staff levels and daily/weekly schedules, maintain client satisfaction/complaints, and support the company's growth and operational efficiency along with the Founder/Director.

Key Responsibilities

MUST HAVE EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE IN RECRUITMENT & HR, CONTRACTS AND MAINTAINING STAFF LEVELS AND SATISFACTION
MUST BE HAPPY TO USE TRIED AND TESTED LEAD PITCH AND SALES SERVICES TO NEW CLIENTS ON A DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY BASIS
MUST BE HAPPY AND ABLE TO DEAL WITH ALL NEW/EXISTING CLIENTS ISSUES/REQUESTS BY E-MAIL, WA, TEXT AND GOOD WITH PHONE CALLS
MUST BE HAPPY TO INVOICE ALL CLIENTS ON A DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY BASIS
MANAGE EXPENSES AND COMPANY BANK ACCOUNT AND STAFF PAY
MUST HAPPY TO BE OFFICE BASED FOR THE 1st 3 MONTHS AND ALSO BE HAPPY TO WORK FROM HOME WHEN ALL UP AND RUNNING

Other General skills needed:

Oversee the daily operations of the cleaning business.
Schedule and coordinate cleaning teams and allocate work efficiently.
Recruit, train, supervise, and support cleaning staff.
Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure high service standards.
Manage staff attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters where required.
Respond promptly to client enquiries, complaints, and service requests.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
Monitor stock levels and arrange the purchase of cleaning supplies/hardware and equipment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare staff rotas, operational reports, and performance updates on a daily basis
Support business development by assisting with quotations, contract mobilisation, and client retention.
Work closely with company director to improve operational processes and achieve business objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience

Previous experience in operations or management, preferably within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to the cleaning industry.
Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Working Hours

Part-time (approximately 80–100 hours per Month) to begin with and as things things grow further it will become a full time role.
Flexible working hours, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.

Salary

Competitive and VERY dependent on experience.
