IT Hardware Technician – Disassembly

Preston, PR3 3XL | Full-Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

About Us

As champions of the circular economy, we pride ourselves on delivering quality IT hardware with excellent customer service. As an IT Hardware Technician, you’ll primarily work in the disassembly department, but you may be needed in other areas when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

Disassembling servers, workstations, and switches
Processing components in part number order
Checking grading and asset label information
Identifying faults or defects in hardware during disassembly
Entering stock into the inventory system
Using basic hand tools
Ensuring workspaces are tidy and tools properly maintained
Adhering to workplace safety, including safe handling of equipment and compliance with company policies.
Handling IT equipment (up to 25kg) and working on your feet for extended periods

A genuine interest in IT hardware, with experience in a similar role or through personal hobbies (being the go-to tech person counts!)
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of parts
Ability to work in a target-driven environment and learn quickly
Organised, reliable, and a team player
