At Footprint Group, we create high-quality signage, vehicle wraps, print, digital graphics, branded merchandise and clothing for a wide range of clients. We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Trainee Production Assistant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, likes variety, and wants to build a career in the signage and print industry. No two days are the same, and you'll gain experience across all areas of production and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and production of signage and graphics.
- Operating large-format printers and plotters (full training provided).
- Weeding and applying application tape ("papering") to vinyl graphics.
- Assisting with on-site signage and vehicle wrap installations while learning from experienced installers.
- Receiving, checking and organising deliveries.
- Making local deliveries to customers and suppliers.
- Picking, packing and preparing merchandise and clothing orders for fulfilment.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe production environment.
- Supporting the wider team and getting involved wherever needed.
What We're Looking For

- Happy to work as part of a team and use their initiative.
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving materials and working on your feet throughout the day.
- Computer literate to be able to run the printer software
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Flexible and willing to turn your hand to a variety of tasks.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Experience
Previous experience in signage, print or production is welcome but not essential. We are looking for the right attitude more than previous experience, and full training will be provided.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
