Client Services Manager (Full-Time)

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum

Location: Remote (UK-based) – applicants must be within reasonable travelling distance of Hatfield for weekly team meet-ups and occasional in-person training or business requirements.

Are you highly organised, client-focused, and passionate about delivering a great customer experience? We're looking for a Client Services Manager to join our growing team and help ensure our clients receive a seamless and professional service from day one.

As our Client Services Manager, you'll play a key role in onboarding new clients, coordinating client services, managing administrative processes, and helping our team deliver an outstanding client experience.

What You'll Do:

Manage the client onboarding process, including Welcome Calls, setting up limited companies, registering for VAT and PAYE, and providing basic software guidance (e.g. Xero and FreeAgent).
Act as a central point of contact for administrative queries referred by our Client Accountants.
Handle ad hoc client administration requests, ensuring they're resolved efficiently and professionally.
Coordinate the annual scheduling of client services, including VAT returns, P11Ds, tax planning meetings and other key deadlines.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure services such as bookkeeping, payroll and tax compliance are delivered on time.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance the client experience.
Help maintain and update internal procedures and training materials as processes evolve.
Liaise with HMRC, Companies House and other third parties to resolve administrative matters.
Develop payroll knowledge through full training, becoming the secondary payroll lead and supporting the payroll function as required.

What We're Looking For:

- At least 3 years' experience in a client services, customer support, administration or similar role.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Confidence using technology, CRM systems and business software.

- Previous experience within an accountancy practice or working with limited companies would be advantageous, but is not essential.
