Workshop based Petrol/Diesel Fitter & Mechanic in Wrexham
Routine maintenance, repair & PDI of the general hire fleet in a clean, warm workshop environment where the priority is quality of work, opposed to quantity. Log duties and replenish parts on a computer system. Working as part of a three man team, you must be a team player but also able to work on your own initiative, you must be a good communicator, methodical and have a keen eye for detail
Required
. Attention to detail and a methodical approach
. Good communication skills
. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
. Flexible and keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may result in staying away from home on the odd occasion
. Basic IT skills for workshop log
. Full UK driving licence
Hire industry or similar experience would be an advantage but is not necessarily essential for the right candidate. You must have a mechanical background with a good knowledge of petrol & diesel machines, Training will provided to transfer your existing skills over to plant & tool hire.

This role will involve looking after the general hire fleet & plant machinery ranging from Excavators, Dumpers, Compacter plates, Cement mixers & so on.

Hours and benefits
- Hours: 7:30am–5:00pm Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–6:00pm Friday.
- Company pension scheme.

- Salary: dependent on experience, plus bonuses.
