Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dependable Weekend Driver to join our dynamic team! This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on movement, enjoy delivering excellent service, and are eager to keep things running smoothly during weekend hours. As a Weekend Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting baked goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a positive experience for our customers. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us deliver on our promise of quality service every weekend!

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vans to deliver goods during weekend shifts
Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Assist with loading and unloading, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure secure transport
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to keep vehicles in optimal condition
Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive during all interactions

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver with a focus on safe driving practices
Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks involved in loading or unloading cargo
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety
Reliable attendance during weekend shifts with a flexible attitude toward working weekends
