You will help to deliver our passion for quality and efficiency, ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and inventory management. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials.
- Perform basic maths calculations for inventory checks and stocktaking.
- Utilise forklifts and other equipment for materials handling, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Promote good customer service.
- Maintain an organised and clean workspace to ensure efficiency and safety within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational needs/goals and deadlines.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Valid counterbalance forklift operator certificate.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for accurate inventory management.
- Experience operating forklifts is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Stong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
shift - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm with occasional weekends.
