As we continue to grow as a business, we are looking to recruit experienced arborist/team leader.
Arborist/Team Leader
The Role
As an Arborist, you’ll work as part of a skilled and professional team delivering a wide range of tree care and arboricultural services. You’ll be responsible for maintaining trees safely and efficiently, ensuring all work meets industry standards while adhering to strict Health & Safety procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tree pruning, reductions, dismantling, and felling operations
- Safe use of chainsaws, climbing equipment, rigging systems, and MEWPs
- Undertaking aerial tree work and ground-based support
- Site clearance, chipping, stump grinding, and debris removal
- Identifying tree health issues and reporting findings to supervisors
- Working efficiently with colleagues to complete jobs on time and to specification
Applicants will need to have the following, although further training will be provided:
- Industry climbing experience in previous roles.
- Proven team Leader Experience, with the ability to organise, motivate and run a crew. (Team Leader roles only)
- Industry qualifications (CS30/31/38/39/41 or equivalent), NPTC, First Aid plus EFA+F, Chapter 8 etc.
- Driving licence
- Strong teamwork, communication, and timekeeping skills
