Paraplanner - AFH Cookham

As our Paraplanner you will typically:

Participate in and delivering comprehensive financial research, within set SLAs, on products and investments on an independent basis using company-approved research tools
Prepare and delivering bespoke investment reports, within set SLAs, to clients through the analysis of existing investment portfolios and comparison against suitable benchmarks
Prepare and interpreting complex plan information with a view to completing transfer analysis
Prepare complex financial planning reports, within set SLAs, in multiple financial planning areas
Research and review, where necessary, new and existing legislation and technical/product information to aid in the role that is performed
Participating in firm research projects, adhering to set deadlines, as and if required.

What we are looking for in our ideal Paraplanner:

Diploma in Financial Planning
Demonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in personal financial planning and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reports
Experience in an IFA environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedback
A high standard of written and numerical skills
An ability to demonstrate strong report-writing skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude in Microsoft Office.

Key Risk Responsibilities:

Completion of assigned tasks, ensuring that SLAs are adhered to
Delivery of accurate and thorough research, calculations, New Business Investment Reports and FPRs to advisers
Contribution into technical and regulatory development of advisers and/or staff on a specific case basis
Contribution into technical and regulatory development of Trainee Paraplanners
Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessary.
