We are seeking a passionate and experienced Landscaping and Maintenance Worker to join our unique private estate on the Windsor/Buckinghamshire border — a place where landscapes are not simply maintained, but carefully shaped, nurtured, and brought to life.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in outdoor spaces and understands the balance between landscaping and practical estate upkeep. From sculpted formal gardens, productive planting areas, seasonal maintenance, and project building works, no two days — or spaces — are the same.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable building furniture, partaking in garden upkeep or rolling up their sleeves to support the wider tasks of the estate.

Combining landscaping and maintenance knowledge with a proactive, hands-on approach, you will help ensure the estate remains immaculate, functional, and visually inspiring year-round.
You will:
- Complete general estate maintenance tasks including painting fences and outdoor structures.
- Assisting in Basic repairs from general wear and tear of interior rooms and furniture
- Maintain gardens, flowerbeds, shrubs, and landscaped areas through pruning, trimming, watering, planting, and seasonal care.
- Carry out routine grounds maintenance including leaf blowing, pathway clearance, litter picking, and debris removal.
- Support the upkeep of lakes and surrounding outdoor spaces.
- Operate and maintain garden machinery and tools including mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and other handheld equipment
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure all outdoor spaces are maintained safely and efficiently
- Report hazards, damages, or maintenance concerns promptly
- Occasionally support team leadership and help uphold high working standards across the estate
About You
You are practical, reliable, and take pride in creating and maintaining exceptional outdoor spaces. You understand that good standards of work are built through consistency, attention to detail, and a genuine passion.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, gardening, horticulture or estate work
- A strong work ethic and willingness to undertake hands-on physical tasks in all weather conditions
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and garden machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- A proactive and flexible approach to daily tasks
Desirable
- Formal landscaping training or qualifications
- Experience working on private estates or high-end landscapes
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Telehandler licence (desirable but not essential)
Working Hours
- 10-hour shifts (including 1-hour paid lunch break)
- 5 days per week
- 1 weekend off in 4
