Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machinist to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating sewing machines to create high-quality garments and textile products. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets our quality standards while maintaining efficient production flow. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship and precision sewing, with a focus on delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate various sewing machines to assemble, hem, and finish fabric products according to specifications
Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring quality control at every stage
Follow detailed sewing patterns and work instructions to maintain consistency across all items
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Assist in troubleshooting machine issues promptly to minimize downtime
Keep accurate records of completed work and report any quality concerns or equipment malfunctions

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a sewing or textile production environment is preferred
Basic knowledge of sewing techniques, machine operation, and fabric handling
Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced, organized work settings
Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality and precision
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving production needs
