Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Property Solicitor to join our reputable legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT systems relevant to legal practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial property matters, providing expert legal advice and support to our clients. The successful applicant will be integral in managing transactions, drafting documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. This position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their career within a dynamic legal environment.

Responsibilities

Advising clients on all aspects of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development agreements
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to commercial property
Conducting due diligence and title investigations to ensure clear ownership and rights
Managing transaction timelines effectively to meet client deadlines
Providing clear and concise legal advice tailored to client needs
Collaborating with other legal professionals and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes
Maintaining accurate case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies
Utilising IT systems efficiently for case management, document drafting, and communication purposes

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor with relevant practising certificate in England and Wales
Proven experience in commercial property law is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Organised with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
Attention to detail and high standards of professionalism are essential
A proactive approach to learning and professional development
